  • What to expect out of the 2021 legislative session

    The 2021 Iowa Legislative Session begins on Monday, Jan. 11, the same day that you are invited to join the ISBA Legislative Counsel team for a preview of priorities and expectations for the legislative year ahead.

    A free 2021 legislative preview live webinar event is scheduled for the noon hour on Monday, Jan. 11, sponsored by The Iowa State Bar Association Government Practice Section. Click here to register for this free event.

    Speakers include ISBA Assistant Legislative Counsels Doug Struyk and Jenny Dorman, of Carney & Appleby PLC. They will discuss the ISBA Affirmative Agenda, potential issues that may emerge during the session and the impact of the state budget. The seminar is approved for one hour of state CLE credit.
