  • November Iowa Lawyer now available online

The November 2021 issue of The Iowa Lawyer magazine has been posted to the ISBA’s website. The cover article is entitled “Moving targets: Vaccine mandates in the Iowa workplace” and discusses COVID-19 and what attorneys need to know to counsel employer clients. It also discusses how Iowa’s vaccination laws interface with federal laws.

The issue also features “Potential in the pandemic” and what that means for law firms, particularly regarding diversity. In addition, there are articles on the Secretary of State’s Fastrack Filing system and the updates coming to it, and the ISBA Board of Governors’ fall quarterly meeting. President Anjela Shutts talks about the impact COVID-19 has had on women, especially working women, and urges women attorneys to be kind to themselves and to be authentic in their personal and professional lives.

You can read the November issue here. The printed magazine is scheduled to be mailed next week.
